And this was the end result, a long bob that is longer at the front than the back. It looks so good lets just hope she looks after it as it really suits her.

STYLING IT UP!!!!
Today was a big day for Lavender. Lavender has been whining about her hair for ages and was tossing up as to whether to get her hair cut for school. After much deliberation about length and styles she asked me to make an appointment. Today at 10.15 was a big moment.

A NEW PET?????
Today I was busy working when all of a sudden I noticed a meow sound. I thought it was on the TV so I continued to do my work. Again I hear a "meow, meow". As the meowing continued I went searching for where the noise was coming from. As I turned the corner this is what I saw.......
The meowing continued. When I asked her what she was doing she announced that we now have a new pet- a pussycat and continued to meow.
While Phoenix was waiting for Dad to take her to bed tonight, (his turn), I noticed a strange sound I turned around to see this wonderful sight.
Phoenix saying goodnight to Lenny, one of our two pet turtles.
This is Lenny, he has to be one of the friendliest turtles there is. He doesn't bite. Lenny loves to come and say hello and to follow your finger around. He get so excited when you talk to him that he splashes at the top of his tank and just begs for you to pick him up. I never thought that a turtle could be so social, friendly and cute.
This is Sponge Bob, Phoenix's turtle he is a year younger than Lenny and is just starting to be confident enough to follow your finger around.
I actually can't believe that I worried about these little guys when we were on holidays and was concerned that they would starve when we were away. They really have become a part of our family.
P.S We did leave them extra blocks of food to eat while we were away.

BACK TO NORMAL!
Life is definitely back to normal. I spent the day doing housework. Washing, cleaning, packing away stuff, grocery shopping, picking up mail and a bit of ironing.
Phoenix entertained herself today and was so proud of herself when she showed me some of the letters she had been practicing. When I looked at her there was red marker all over her hands and mouth. I was a bit worried that she had hurt herself. No the marker was just leaking.

Soon after "buddy", aka Daddy, arrived home with something that made everything alright, her favourite, a banilla (vanilla) milkshake.
YUMMY!!!!!

BACK HOME!!
Well today we all got up packed our bags and tidied up. We left the villa at 9.30am for the airport after another sad farewell to the Sharmans. I really thought that it would get easier each time we said goodbye but it doesn't. We all love this family so much and we feel like they are just an extension of our family. They only good part about saying goodbye is that we have already agreed that we will be doing this again, dont know where but its definitely on.
We flew from Coffs Harbour to Sydney, then to Adelaide, then Port Lincoln. The first plane took off at 10.30am and we arrived in Port Lincoln at 6pm. It was a long day but sure beats 3 days of driving.

Our plane.
I have to say that we all had a great time on holiday and probably could have extended our trip by about 2 days but its great to be home. I have a couple of days to catch up on the housework before another busy time with Tunarama just around the corner.

OUR LAST DAY!
Last day of our holiday in Coffs, Boo hoo!!!!!. Today I was woken up at 5.20 am by Maddii and Casey to go do a sunrise photo shoot.
After everyone got up and we all had breakfast it was off to the pool till early afternoon. I finally got some time to read my new book "Pretty Little Liars", great book.
Later in the afternoon it was Lavender and Charli's turn for a photo shoot.
Next I took Phoenix down to the beach for a play in the sand and to play with her bubble solution. Great chance to take some photos of her as she is not the most willing participant.
Got some great bubble shots.
Then it was time for dinner and our traditional family shot - The Shabaj's

IT'S HARD WORK BUT SOMEONE'S GOT TO DO IT!!!
Woke up to another wonderful sunny day. It was a slow start but the boys and kids decided that a game of tennis was in order.
Then off to the pool for a bit of swimming and sun. Lunch by the pool. We are all a bit exhausted from all the fun we have been having so we just hung for the afternoon. I stayed on our deck with Phoenix so she could rest a bit. Had fun doing sudoku and clueless crosswords.
Spent the afternoon drinking, playing trivial pursuit bet you know it and Simpsons trivia. Homemade pizza for dinner.

RELAXING!
Today started with Tony, Dave and the kids going for a swim. Tony had a friends grandfathers funeral today so we had to work out our schedule around that. Whilst he was gone we all went into the centre of Coffs and just walked around. He picked us up and we all went to the jetty for chips and seafood lunch and then went for a walk along the jetty.
Lavender and Charli getting soaked.
Came back to the villa and had a couple hours of swimming and sun. This is the life.
Had a lovely dinner and then I did a photo shoot of Maddii and Casey.
Left it a bit late, we didnt have much light. Try again tomorrow. The girls want to get up before the sun in the morning, lets see if that happens, I doubt it.
